The construction industry accounts for nearly 1 in 5 workplace deaths more than almost any other field. The biggest killers? “Fatal Four”—falls, strikes, electrocutions, and caught-in-between accidents. These are the most common reasons workers don’t make it home from construction sites, making safety a life-or-death challenge every single day.
Our client, Navatech, a UAE-based tech company, found this out and was firm to build a solution to save the lives of those who build. Also, upon their research, they found that one site alone lost $1.2M from accidents, fines, and delays.
They started their mission to prevent accidents, save precious human lives and save companies from unwanted compliance issues and financial losses. They wanted to build a fix that could stop the chaos, guide the construction workers, and prevent accidents and turned to us with a challenge: make it smart, make it simple, and make it work for everyone.
Construction sites are ticking time bombs—and the cracks in safety are letting them explode. Here’s what’s going wrong:
Every day, thousands of workers get injured because safety rules are weak or stuck in the past. Companies lose billions fixing what could’ve been stopped—money down the drain, lives on the line.
Old-school safety can’t keep up. It doesn’t spot trouble brewing in fast-moving sites, leaving workers blind to risks until it’s too late.
When disaster hits, messy communication slows everything down. Workers wait longer, risks grow bigger, and recovery drags on—seconds turn into scars.
Sensors and systems spit out tons of safety info, but it’s a mess to sift through. Companies drown in numbers and miss the red flags.
Accidents pile up when workers skip rules, miss training, or fumble checks. Human slip-ups turn small oversights into big tragedies—over and over again.

When Navatech asked us to build something special, we didn’t just deliver a tool—we handed them a safety superhero. The WhatsApp Safety Copilot for construction isn’t like anything else out there, and here’s why it’s turning heads from UAE sites to global stages. They make it special and effective:
The copilot helps everyone on a site in a unique manner:
Get clear safety tips in native languages.
Follow rules without stress.
Check progress and safety live.
Make work safer and faster.
Navatech faced a huge hurdle in making construction sites safer. Their goal was to build a clever system that could sift through tons of data from sensors—think cameras, motion detectors, and more—and spot risks like falling beams or shaky scaffolds right as they happened.
This wasn’t just about speed; the system had to fit into the tools companies already used, like old software or safety checklists, without causing a mess. Plus, construction sites are wild—weather changes, machines move, and workers shuffle around daily—so it needed to keep up with that chaos. One slip, and people could get hurt or worse, so Navatech had to get it right, fast.
MindInventory teamed up with Navatech to make their Construction Safety Copilot a reality. They had a big idea—safer construction sites—and we jumped in to help.
Our ideas and tweaks made it click, turning their vision into something real. The proof? NEOM loved it and partnered up, and Navatech scored $3M to go global. We didn’t just help—we built a safety winner together.
We built a super admin and client dashboard that’s totally flexible, fitting any team’s needs, from tiny crews to huge sites.
For the front end, we used ReactJS to keep it fast and simple—workers and managers can use it easily, no headaches.
On the back end, we picked Python and FastAPI to process everything quick and smooth, no stumbles.
We also set up a strong database with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS, keeping data safe and ready to grow with Navatech.
We worked side by side with them, testing language alerts, hazard scans, and more, until it was perfect—even for folks new to tech.
This solution has not only made the construction site safer but has also created a more efficient and connected environment. Now, by using these features, workers can easily share updates, get real-time safety alerts, and access vital information in their native languages. Also, it elevated safety and operational efficiency on construction sites.
The futuristic NEOM city partnered with our customer for workplace safety and management. With this, the unique business idea and tech approach aided our customer in securing the first level of its $3M seed funding meant for international business expansion.
